specialist, zoologists, biologists, scientific researcher and scientist
who interesting and specialized in study & research in the fields of
zoology, vet veterinarian veterinary medicine, animal husbandry, animal
conservation, DNA, genetic mapping, rare animal distribution,
breeding & reproduction, physiology, data, animal behavior, beast
habitat, zoological habit, cell bank etc, although some student come here
for practice exercise or probation for article or thesis of
graduation.

Breeding, talk about this project.
Day02-Day03, Learn and understand Chengdu Panda Base.
Day04--Day031, Study and research in Chengdu Base.
Day32, Leave Chengdu by yourself.
Above itinerary subject to adjusted by Chengdu Panda Base if necessary
while your arrival.
Quotation (In USD, per person):
A, 2260USD/p.p. with accommodation in the hostel of Chengdu Panda Base,
single supplement 620USD; Extra cost 1980USD per additional 30days if
staying longer for researching and studying in Chengdu Panda Base.
B, 2660USD/p.p. with (2stars hotel) accommodation in town and daily 2way
transfers, single person cost (accommodation and transfers) extra 860USD;
Extra cost 2360USD per additional 30days if staying longer for researching
and studying in Chengdu Panda Base.
Note: It's available if less 32days and cost the same as above, but it's
not available if less 22days.

Excluded: meals (about 3-8USD daily for basis meals in Chengdu Panda

English level and Chinese(if available) level, so that we can apply the
permit for you; 2, once the tour available, then we will inform
you of arrangement, and also inform you to bank wire full
payment to the account of our corp..(account be e-mailed to you in our
e-mail sooner); 3, after your payment has reached into our
account fully, we will make re-confirmation to you on this reservation,
and e-mail you some details about this project tour.
And there are assistants to direct you while you do researching, so
please bring some gifts to these assistants.
Also please keep the original
Certificate of your Body Health to Chengdu Panda Base. You must obey the
China Regulation, and as well as the regulation of Chengdu Panda Base
for researching and studying, also the procedure of working, and
researching programme.

Chengdu Panda Base
Basic introduction
Key Laboratory for Reproduction and Conservation Genetics of Endangered
Wildlife of Sichuan Province (Following
from Chengdu Panda Base)
As of 2002, 48 scientists and technicians are
working at the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding (including
those at Chengdu Zoo). Also, scientists from the USA, UK, Japan, and
domestic institutions and universities have conducted their studies there.
In 1997, the Chengdu Laboratory of Reproduction and Genetics for
Endangered Wildlife was set up and equipped with advanced technical
equipment, mainly sponsored by Chengdu Giant Panda Breeding Research
Foundation and the State Planning and Development Committee. Since its
foundation, many practical projects have been carried out. With strong
support from The Chinese Ministry of Science and Technology and the
Sichuan Provincial Department of Science and Technology, It has now been
approved by Sichuan Provincial Government as Key Laboratory for
Reproduction and Conservation Genetics of Endangered Wildlife of Sichuan
Province. It is one of the best professional laboratories for wildlife
conservation in China.

The Largest Semen Bank for Giant Pandas in the World
The cryopreservation studies of Chengdu Base have improved the quality of
frozen semen and thawing techniques (i.e. motility has been improved by
more than 30%; acrosome integrity has improved by more than 50%).The
largest semen bank for giant pandas in the world has been set up at
Research Base.
The Provider of Semen for Other Captive Institutions
For many years, They have provided high quality frozen semen to many other
institutions such as Beijing Zoo, Fuzhou Zoo, Kunming Zoo, Lanzhou Zoo and
Chongqing Zoo.
The Only Cell Bank for Giant Pandas in the World, a set of cell
culture techniques has been successfully developed. Cell cultures of many
giant pandas have been established and cryopreserved.
