Trip to China Panda Voluntary Tour

In the profession volunteering  field work, special for college & school students, under leadership and guidance of the behavioral & ecological expert or advisor tutor teacher, to work in panda bear behavioral and ecological research center, to search study in animal (panda bear) behavioral science and ecology, panda bear animal behavior research, ethology.
The watching panda animal behavior and ecology volunteer working in panda Behavioral & Ecological  Research Center as follow,  under the Panda Base  expert or teacher, or tutor, or advisor:
1, To understand the Wolong Nature Reserve in animal and panda preservation.
2, To understand the plants and animals in Wolong Nature Reserve.
3, Watch the animal special the pandas' behavior and collect the ecological data.
4, Learn how scientists / expert / tutor / advisor collect data to understand the giant pandas.
5, Develop any resarch project or question.
6, Analyze the data and write the summary or an research report if you prefer to.
7, All year abailable, but the best time to watch pandas' action behavior: March to Sep, while panda in oestrum, breeding, mating, roaring, birth giving etc.
8, You do it with either Focal sampling or Continuous recording, or All-occurrence recording, or other method to watch pandas action.


Schedule (Itineray)
Day01, Arr in Chengdu, take taxi (about 80-120CNY) by yourslef (also you can take air bus cost 10CNY to the end, then walk about 5-7 mintues to Binjiang hotel) to overnight in Binjiang hotel with b'fast.
Day02, Take bus to Panda Research & Breeding Center,  then take volunteering work registration and training, overnight in local hotel or  hostel (very simple). (B)
Day03, Internship practise (voluntary work and study under the guidance / direction of panda expert), overnight in local hostel.(B)
Day04, Intern practice (volunteer work and study under the guidance / direction of panda expert), overnight in local hostel.(B)
Day05, Intern practice (voluntary work and study under the guidance / direction of panda expert), overnight in local  hostel.(B)
Day06, Internship practise (volunteer work and study under the guidance / direction of panda expert), overnight in local  hostel.(B)

Quotation (per person in RMB):
3650CNY/p.p. for departure in Jan, Feb, Mar, Nov, Dec, single suppplement 660CNY.
3950CNY/p.p. for fdeparture in Apr, May, Jun, Jul, Aug, Sep, Oct , single suppplement 860CNY
4450CNY/p.p. for  trip falls on 27Sep-07Oct, single suppplement1250CNY.
Included: accommodation (very simple) with local style b'fast in marked hostel (hotel) or similar,  coordination fee for volunteering, local assistant (tutor, or advisor, or teacher, or expert) service while volunteering, volunteering fee, voluntary certificate.
Excluded: transfer and transportation, bus ticket, taxi cost, volunteering cloth rental (300CNY around), meals not marked, entrance fee (one time, about 100CNY), guide service, body insurance (you must buy body insurance in your country), any other service not included above.

If need private car transfer service on both Day02 and Day15, even daily private car transfer service and with 4* hotel accommodation arrangement, then please tell us.

Note:
1, If you want to stay longer for voluntary work, then cost extra 320CNY per day per person.
2, If take this tour, we will e-mail you confirmation and arrangement with a message in both Chinese and English for all necessary informaiton after your reservation and payment made to us, you can pirnt it and show it to any Chinese for assistance in case necessary.
3, All volunteers must obey the regulation of this Researching Center and China's Law, and working directed by leaders and scientist of this Researching Center. You'd better buy your body insurance in your country.

Hold panda for photo: you can ask our experienced guide to arrange for you to take picture photo with pandas (hold panda baby for photo in your lap) in cub panda house, of course taking picture photo with baby panda cost you extra.
