In general, the time to visit giant pandas bear in Chengdu and Wolong,
Bifengxia:
best time 08:00-11:00 in the
morning, and better time 14:30-17:00 in the afternoon. Better from 08:00
to 10:00 in the summer.
And little various if in Wolong National Natural Reserve, or Mountains.
What is the best month to visit pandas?
The better month to visit pandas: Apr, May, breeding season.
The better month to visit pandas: Mar, Apr, Nov in Chengdu; Jan, Feb,
Mar, Apr, Oct, Nov, Dec in mountains..
And to visit mother panda: Jul and Aug for panda bear birth!
To visit new baby (5-14 years, usually in kindertarten): Jan, Feb, Mar,
Apr
What is the best time to visit new cubs?
Usually panda mother give birth from Jul to Aug, so you can visit
newborn infant cub in incubators or nursery
from late Jul.
What is the time to watch panda's mating activity?
From Mar to May.
Can we visit pandas in winter?
Yes, you can. In general, normal panda bear tours arranged all year around.
The lower temperature, the more active, and the better to play for panda bears.
